Hello! My name is Chloe and welcome to Life is Fine.
The finer things in life don’t always have to be lavish or Instagram worthy, just simply something you see, love, or experience that brings positivity to your everyday lives. Yet, sometimes life is just ‘fine’, nothing extraordinary but nothing terrible, an aspect of our lives that tends to be ignored by our online selves.
Here at Life Is Fine I share my passion for all things beauty, food, and life related. These are not always likely to be life changing but I hope the inspiration I find from everyday observations might entertain or even inform you in some way!
I am a recent Oxford Brookes graduate taking my first few steps into the ‘adult’ world. My degree in Communication, Media, and Culture highlighted how our every day, digitally connected and media saturated society effects but also constructs our identities. Throughout my three years of study, I became particularly interested in technologies power to manipulate and distort our perceptions of gender. This led me to write a dissertation surrounding the male gaze and gender representations within the Halloween film franchise. However, my course also enhanced my passion for film and TV, digital marketing, and magazine publishing. It’s my aim to reflect some of these interests through this blog in a fun and inspiring way.
Thank you for taking the time to visit Life is Fine.
